Rooftop Brighton Bait Hive

This was one of my first prototypes to be put up at height. In this case instead of being mounted to a tree we weighed it down on the roof of my student house in Brighton. I kept a colony of bees in it for an extended period whilst studying so I had a nuc to take to shows in an exhibition hive. On one occasion I had thirty or forty bees escape into the house - much to the surprise of my very tolerant housemates!
