hive log.
I developed hive log for a year - purely to use for myself. I found that colony record cards (when I first began beekeeping) were confusing and didn't have enough space for my written notes. My father always kept a beautiful journal containing both his hive logs - and his beekeeping tricks which he taught to me. I began illustrating his 'hive hacks' to pass on to others at some point.
The logbooks are marked as limited edition, and the proceeds from hive log sales are being used to get project bait hive off the ground.

Hive Log is a new logbook for beekeepers. It contains enough space for recording over 500 hive checks. The 'log' sections feature all the check lists of a recommended colony record card - with more space for notes, visual ques and a prompt page to refer to. The rear section contains some illustrations of 'my fathers tricks'. I've left a few blank pages in this 'hacks section' - and what I’d love is for beekeepers to add their own 'tricks of the trade' so we can pass this information around. The logbook also contains a section to draw out your apiary layout and some stickers to mark hive locations.
